Lecture & Performance: End of Life Music with Kinan Azmeh
Kinan Azmeh of the Silk Road Ensemble joins SFCM Alumnus Scott Thompson of The End of Life Music Project for a concert and lecture introducing their collaboration to create music crafted specifically for the end of life transition. Mr. Thompson is a former cello student of SFCM faculty member Jennifer Culp. Mr. Azmeh is a Grammy Award winning Syrian-American composer and clarinetist who has an extensive portfolio including compositions for The New York Philharmonic and Yo-Yo Ma-- among others.
