Biography
June Bonacich lives with her dogs, cats, chickens and wife in the Santa Cruz mountains. She has been a teacher in the precollege division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for over 25 years and now teaches music at the Mount Madonna School in Watsonville. The world premier of her “Concerto for Four Bassoons” was featured on NPR’s State of the Arts with Jeffrey Freymann in 2015. She currently is the composer in Residence with the Community Women’s Orchestra where her pieces are regularly performed.
