Biography

Geoffrey Lee is a pianist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is an accompanist at the San Francisco Ballet School, company pianist for Smuin Ballet, and is the ballet pianist for the San Francisco Opera since 2022 having worked on shows including Barber of Seville (2026), Monkey King (2025), Parsifal (2025), and Dreams of the Red Chamber (2022). Other projects include being the pianist-conductor for Mark Foehringer's Nutcracker Sweets, playing in the orchestra for the Napa Valley Regional Dance Company’s Nutcracker, co-music directing a one act original opera titled Waterfall (2026) by Lisa Scola-Prosek for the Playground-SF theater festival, and playing rehearsals for Lamplighters Theatre's original commission By Georges! Geoffrey Lee received his M.M. in piano performance Spring 2020 after studying with Sharon Mann at the SF Conservatory of Music and Geoffrey completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University in 2014.
