Student Support Offices

A number of Conservatory offices and staff are available to support students and their academic programs of study.

Office of the Registrar

The Registrar's Office is responsible for maintaining students' academic records. This office coordinates registration for each fall and spring semester, scheduling of classes and juries, statistical reporting, transcript preparation and issuance, class and grade rosters, and directory preparation. The office also completes necessary forms for the Veterans Administration.

Office of Student Life

The Office of Student Life provides programs and services that enhance student learning, provide leadership opportunities, promote community development, and support the educational goals of Conservatory students. The Office of Student Life oversees the student health insurance plan, health and wellness programs, social activities, student conduct, residential life and housing, and career services.

International and Transfer Student Advisor

The International and Transfer Student Advisor assists:

  • Incoming transfer students wishing to receive transfer credit for courses in the general education area and music electives completed at other accredited institutions. Review the "Academic Requirements for Admission" section of the latest Collegiate Catalog for complete details.
  • Current students wishing to transfer credit for courses in the general education area and music electives completed at other accredited institutions.
  • International students in obtaining and maintaining appropriate visa status for study in the United States of America.

Office of Financial Aid

The Conservatory maintains a generous financial aid program, including scholarships, grants, loans and part-time employment. Approximately 97 percent of our students receive some portion of their assistance directly from Conservatory scholarships. Conservatory financial aid awards generally include gift assistance (scholarship or grant) and self-help assistance (loans and work opportunities).
