Barbara Andres, student of Lynn Harrell and Steven Geber, joined the San Francisco Symphony upon graduation from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She begins her seventh year as orchestral coach for the Conservatory cellos, and prior to that was a coach for the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. Ms. Andres has been the principal cellist of the Sierra Chamber Society the past 14 seasons, and performs regularly on the San Francisco Symphony chamber music series.
